The band members will go their separate ways. They are still great friends and buddies.
However it proved not doable to combine the different musical tastes and level of ambition between the band members.

Vincent, Martijn & Ruben like to thank everyone for joining them on their adventure.

Ampiphy participated in the “Caring Voices” project. An initiative by Deborah Shasha. Deborah is even younger then Ampiphy’s youngest and managed to put together an album for charity.

By the way. Ampiphy played a cover of Bob Dylan’s song “Like A Rolling Stone” in Budel yesterday evening. It was the first time they played a Bob Dylan cover as a tribute to this great songwriter.

Tonight (9th May) Ampiphy will perform at The Jack in Eindhoven. Doors open at 18:00

Ampiphy recorded 3 songs in Utrecht on May 4th 2010. The set included the first time recording of an Ampiphy original “Time”. This tune was written by Ruben & Marcel Heijnsbroek.

The other songs recorded are Broken Down & Where Do We Go Now. Both Ampiphy songs are written by Vincent Le Blanc and appeared prior on Speed Demo & Lonely Road.
They where re-recorded to give both songs a “live” feel to them, thus representing the live experience you get when you visit an Ampiphy gig.

Ampiphy will be ZZ Tops support act on June 6th 2010 in De Bosuil.

They look forward to playing with a UK based band.
The ZZ Tops were formed in 2007 to celebrate the music and career of ZZ Top – one of the greates rock n’ roll bands of all time. Comprising of FRANKS WEIRD on Drums, DUSTY THRILLS on Bass Guitar and the REV. BILLY F. BIGGUNS on Guitar, “That lil’ ol’ band from Devon” nails the look, the sound and the overall vibe of the Texas Trio with the beards, the cheap sunglasses, the fuzzy guitars, the outfits and all the moves! THEIR SHOWS place great emphasis on ZZ TOP’S actual LIVE performances thus creating the most dynamic stage show, packed full of brilliantly played classics from the early 70′s and 80′s, through to the new releases of today.

Ampiphy is proud to introduce Roy van Lieshout as a new member of their management team.
